On August 26, 17 travel agencies from Ningbo City of Zhejiang Province visited Huayuan County for a familiarization trip, laying a solid foundation for the product development and market promotion of the Ningbo-Biancheng tourism air route in 2025.
The members of travel agencies walked into Shibadong Village, Biancheng Chadong Scenic Area, and Gumiao River Grand Canyon Scenic Area to experience the cultural landscape of Huayuan up close.
They visited the Miao embroidery demonstration base, Jingzhunping Square and other places in Shibadong Village, explored the struggle from poverty alleviation to rural revitalization in the village, and experienced its ten-year changes.
At the Biancheng Chadong Scenic Area, they listened to the touching love story depicted in the novel “Border Town”, strolled on the flagstone roads of the ancient town, enjoyed the quaint stilted buildings, experienced the beautiful natural landscape, and felt the unique charm of Biancheng.
In the Gumiao River Grand Canyon Scenic Area, they walked on the winding plank road in the mountains and admired waterfalls of various sizes cascading down from the mountaintop, with water vapor filling the air.
“This time, we have got a deeper and more detailed understanding of the local areas. Next, we will better develop and promote the corresponding tourism products of Biancheng and Shibadong Village based on the Ningbo-Biancheng air route for different groups, like cultural tour, study tour, and Red training groups,” said Ren Xiaowei, vice president of Ningbo Travel Agency Association.
